Finsbury Park is a bustling, creative pocket of London. Collaborating with designer Matty Lane and Lyons + Sleeman + Hoare, we created a cool, creative, secluded space for cinema goers to escape to.

Design thinking and user experience helped us provide art direction and creative execution for exterior signage, interior design, and user journey design.

We used the contemporary building structure and materials to establish a design language that travelled the entire cinema. From navigation signage and iconography, to tap room-style bar fit out.

Delivery

Applying our signature use of colour and texture to elicit emotional connection, we balanced artistic flair and practical visual communication to elevate the user experience.

Creating colourful, hand rendered type to decorate the bar areas added warmth and complemented the monochrome aesthetic etched throughout the building.

Choosing RGB LEDs for the external logo adds a visual edge for premiers and director Q&As. Architecturally sympathetic wayfinding floor plans and bold wallpaper application envelops the member’s bar entrance.
